It was previewed to aesthetic doctors at the SIES Congress: it is called Profhilo®, it is not cross-linked, it is a biotechnological hyaluronic acid with a high degree of purity, the result of a patented technology.
Developed and produced in Italy by IBSA, in collaboration with the Second University of Naples, it is based on stable hybrid complexes of high and low molecular weight hyaluronic acid, i.e. on a technology that allows to reach hyaluronic acid concentrations unimaginable up to now: 64 mg in 2 ml.
Profhilo®, thanks to its peculiarities, is doubly effective because it has a bio-regenerating action: its balanced concentration of low molecular weight hyaluronic acid stimulates the fibroblasts to produce endogenous hyaluronic acid; it has a tensor effect guaranteed by the high molecular weight hyaluronic acid content that counteracts skin laxity and reshapes the face. Its use is also simplified: it can be injected with a 29 G thin-walled needle and spreads easily into the dermis.
Profhilo®, compared to a high molecular weight hyaluronic acid, gives more lasting results because it is less attackable by hyaluronidase, the enzyme that ‘dissolves’ and dissolves hyaluronic acid, so it lasts longer in a completely natural way, without requiring the use of cross-linking substances.
Designed to redefine and recompact the oval of the face, it also has the advantage of increasing skin hydration and improving skin brightness. It is therefore a complete anti-aging, which offers tone, turgor and better skin elasticity, less wrinkles and expression lines,
The protocol of use of Profhilo® is reduced to two sessions to be performed one month apart, with a new specific technique, called the BAP (Bio Aesthetic Point) technique, which identifies only 5 injection points per half-split.
Which Target? Improving the comfort and satisfaction of the patient who immediately obtains skin firmness and visible brightness, a redensifying and tightening effect, relaxed skin, narrow pores, ‘lifted’ face. All with minimal pain and very few bruises. A prolonged action over time and with a reduced possibility of collateral effects, because it is natural.
